I’m confused. At :34 it says that chemotherapy is not the cause of chemo brain. Huh? This makes no sense at all. The rest of the video is terrific, with lots of good information on how to get through the effects of chemo brain. I’m still recovering from it and it does take time. I’m reassured that my problems with memory and organisation are not unusual. Maybe I haven’t actually gone crazy!

The only reason it is controversial is because the telecommunication industry is using the same playbook as the tobacco industry i.e. setting up studies that will show no result. I have a huge phyllodes...they found it in 2015...and did nothing now 2024 a invasive lobular was found in my right breast...they still were not concerned about the left breast ..I'm now at at a different cancer center in albuquerque nm...it's UNM...they are concerned about my right breast and also my left...very much..they want to take them both...I have a very hard time breathing.. could the phyllodes maybe have sped to my lungs is my worry for today...I can hardly get out of bed being out of breath.

My breast cancer operation was in early 2023, I had 21 nodes remived, now after 18 months I am having swelling under the armpit sometimes. Do excercises and reparil tablets help drain the accumulated fluids. Is this temporary or life time issue?

Thank you so much for helping me understand. I was diagnosed with estrogen positive breast cancer 3 years ago. It was grade 3 and had reached 2 of my lymph nodes. It was caught teally early in what would have been my last mamogram. Everything happened so fast the tests etc lumpectomy and 2 lymph nodes removed. My onco score came back low so i only needed one week radiation and prescribed letrazole one tablet a day for 10 year. Must admit lots of side effects with this medication but i take it religiously. I now have a yearly mamogram and all is well.

I was called back after having all the tests done. They said that there was a shadow that needed further investigations. The team that did the tests were amazing. They exuded a feeling of calmness, professionalism and trust. It was so relaxing I almost fell asleep on the couch. I’m now waiting for the results and I’m not worried at all. What will be, will be! It might be because I’m now 80 years old and I can’t be bothered to be bothered anymore. I’m In the UK and I’ve had all the tests done free via the NHS.

I’m not allowed to use my arms, as it’s three weeks after, so all I do is walking for exercise. I still have drains but will thankfully will have them removed tomorrow. The drains cause tremendous amount of pain not relieved by Extra strength Tylenol and Motrin 800 both. Vicodin only lasted a couple days even though I only took 1/2 tabs. It’s much worse than this video relays.

Tomorrow is my biopsy...bit scared but need to be strong i come back here after it was done thank u 2024 😢

His biggest concern is osteoporosis, but I am concerned about that as well as all the other negative side effects, including terrible joint pain (makes me feel 90 years old!!), fatigue, brain fog, depression, no libido on top of vaginal dryness, difficulty sleeping due to the joint pain, etc. Quality of LIFE is important, and Anastrazole is robbing me of that. I feel this doctor (& my own oncologist, who is female) completely downplay the reality of living with these side effects, which is very frustrating.

I would appreciate more information regarding toxicity to Aromatase Inhibitors - signs and symptoms - as I believe I am suffering from this. Thank you

But my biopsy was at 5:30. Seemed deep next to the muscle not next to fat deposits next to the skin. Three weeks ago the oncologist said I do not need to come back unless another doctors sends me. I started lump rechecks at 17yo. Bilat Mast in my 60s.
